Sarah Harris Gould and Lauren Tapper met while working together for a global clothing brand in New Zealand. Sarah has a background in buying and brand management in New Zealand and London, and Lauren in design and PR.

In 2017 the duo saw a gap in the market at the time, for high-quality, directional women’s shirting at an accessible price point.

Six years on and Harris Tapper has quickly progressed from a tight range of women’s shirting into full collections due to customer and retailer demand.

Intention

Harris Tapper is a women’s ready-to-wear brand offering sartorial choices to serve the modern, professional life. Each collection is comprised of elements that define Harris Tapper; easy elegance, subversive femininity and sculptural minimalism.

Harris Tapper takes a refined approach to the work wardrobe, evolving with each season to deliver an off-beat yet considered take on workwear staples, masculine tailoring and hard-working pieces which champion the wearer’s independent, career-focused and multifaceted life.
